I’ve been trying to be good lately but sometimes I can’t resist the call of the craft shop!

One Stop Craft Shop

While I was on my week off I had to pop down to my favourite craft shop to start some Christmas crafting!

First I picked up last year’s DoCrafts Christmas grab bag (I don’t like what’s in this years), a bargain for only £10…

goodie bag

This is a whole heap of goodies from Christmas in the Country and At Christmas by Lucy Cromwell. I love the whole Nordic theme of In the Country and the At Christmas items will give me chance to do some more older/traditional cards.

Next up I picked up a few My Minds Eye items and some unusual glitter film.

IMG_3389The MME alphas are fab – there’s eight sheets in total in a range of colours that should match any cards I make this Christmas. The wood dots will go nicely with the Christmas in the Country range above and the film was an impulse purchase. It’s really thin but drops no glitter and I’m thinking I could make some cute bows with it using my Silhouette.

Manchester picks

During my week off I also went to Manchester and picked up a few bits from Fred Aldous…

IMG_3394That’s another Livework pen as I loved the other one so much and this cute pack of sticky notes – I love how quirky they are!

I also had a quick look in the huge Paperchase there…

I’ve been after some stickers like that for my new Filofax and that glitter ribbon was only £3 for six different colours. No idea what I’ll use it for but you’ve got to have glitter ribbon at Christmas!

Some nice little hauls and now I just need to get started on my Christmas crafting. Watch this space!

Have you started your Christmas crafts yet?
